# Chris Boyd

I’m a platform engineering leader with more than 15 years building scalable
enterprise architectures, unified digital ecosystems, and high-velocity
engineering organizations.

I currently serve as Senior Director of Frontend Platforms at FIS. I lead the
platforms, design systems, and teams that make AI-native experiences secure,
fast, and consistent across mobile and web at Fortune 500 fintech scale. My
focus is developer experience as a force multiplier and AI features that earn
their place in production.

Previously, as Head of Mobile at The Cigna Group, I led a 50+ person global
engineering organization and platform modernization across design systems,
TypeScript and React, accessibility, Core Web Vitals, predictive AI, and
geospatial intelligence. Before that, as Director of Mobile Engineering at Ally
Financial, I led its Mobile Reimagined initiative and a stability program that
reduced critical error rates from over 3% to 0.01% in six weeks.

From 2012 to 2022, I founded and led [Apptitude](https://apptitude.io), directing
global engineering teams that delivered high-scale digital platforms for
United Airlines and the Houston Zoo.
